Administrative and Communications Officer
The European Association of Distribution System Operators (E.DSO) is looking for a new Administrative and Communications Officer to provide support in the different association back-office, event organisation and communication activities.
Purpose of the role
Together with E.DSO Management Officer, you will provide administrative and event management support to the Association. However, your tasks will not be limited to administrative issues. At E.DSO, you will put your creativity to the test by developing content and diverse communication material.
Key duties
- Assistance with the daily management of the Association
- Support for the arrangements of meetings and events (physical, online and hybrid)
- Support to general communication activities, including website management, newsletter and social media publications
- Management and update of the Association’s database
- Management and update of the Members’ platform
- Support with IT tools
Required skills, knowledge and experience
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Office Management; Communications; or similar educational background
- 1-2 years working experience in or around the EU institutions, not-for-profit or private sector (energy-related matters is preferable)
- Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
- Fluent communication in English and French; other EU languages are an asset
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn to use and help us update and improve various online tools and database (WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot and Eventbrite, etc.)
- Good visual skills, graphics ad-or video design for communication campaigns is a plus

- Ability and flexibility to adapt to different tasks in a small multicultural team
- Good communication, organisational and networking skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Confidence in interacting with Association members and stakeholders
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Comfort with learning to make non-technical communications on technical topics
- Commitment to E.DSO values and mission
