Contract: This internship can be arranged either through a university internship agreement or under a paid Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP) contract (€1,200/month). 

Duration: 6 months

EuropeActive is the leading non-profit organisation representing the fitness and physical activity sector across Europe. Our mission is to promote healthier lifestyles, set professional standards, and advocate for policies supporting physical activity and wellness. 

We are looking for two enthusiastic and creative Communications Interns to join our team for a six-month internship. This is your opportunity to actively contribute to our mission, gain valuable professional experience, and develop your skills within an international and supportive team environment. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content and visuals for social media, newsletters, our website, podcast and more. 

  • Event Promotion: Support communications around EuropeActive’s key events, such as the European Health and Fitness Forum (EHFF), Active Leadership Forum (ALF), Exercise for Health Summit (EFHS), and others. 

  • PR and Advocacy: Assist in preparing press releases, media kits, and stakeholder communications to enhance EuropeActive’s visibility. 

  • Campaign Support: Help implement communications strategies for initiatives including #BEACTIVE DAY, HealthyLifestyle4All, and other campaigns. 

  • Research and Reporting: Conduct basic research and gather insights to measure and report on the effectiveness of communication activities. 

Your Profile: 

  • Currently enrolled in a university programme (with internship agreement) or eligible for a CIP contract in Belgium. 

  • Strong interest in communications, marketing, public relations, or related fields. 

  • Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in other European languages is an advantage. 

  • Creative, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks. 

  • Familiarity with digital tools like Canva, Adobe or social media schedulers is beneficial but not mandatory.
