We are offering a full-time traineeship position in a dynamic, multi-cultural, collaborative environment. Starting in November 2024 (exact date flexible), this paid traineeship is for 6 months and is located either in Brussels or Arnhem (hybrid approach with remote working is possible). SCOPE AND TASKS
Under the supervision of the Communications and Digital Managers, and in coordination with the team, the trainee will support the LREF’s work on various topics and fields:
•Assisting with the implementation of the communications strategy and 5 Year Plan;
•Developing content for the LRE communications channels (social, newsletter, blog, websitesetc.) including the ones related to the projects Liberation Route Europe and EuropeRemembers.
•LREF community and social media management;
•Assisting with the organization of events;
•Assist with media outreach and liaison;
•Copywriting, proofreading and translation for communications, marketing, and online content;
•Drafting and publishing of press releases;
•Press review and online monitoring;
Depending on the trainee’s profile and competences, it will be possible to participate in other projects.
PROFILE
We are looking for a Trainee with:
•Demonstrated interest in the mission of the LRE Foundation.
•A relevant education in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or any field relevant tothis traineeship description.
•Excellent command of English mandatory and knowledge of German, Polish or French is a strong advantage.
•Excellent writing and presentation skills
•Good command of creative software (Adobe suite) would be an advantage
•Creative and online oriented
•Proactive, team player and good interpersonal skills
•Self-starter and autonomous in approaching work
•Able to respect deadlines and tight timing with critical attention to detail.
