IBS Consulting is a consulting firm based in Italy that specializes in providing strategic advisory services, primarily in the areas of European funding, project management, and innovation. The company assists companies and industries in identifying and accessing regional, national and EU funding opportunities. IBS Consulting offers expertise in drafting proposals, managing projects, and providing support throughout the entire funding process.

IBS consulting is looking for a Project Manager for its branch office in Brussels with proven experience in managing and writing funded projects at the European level. The selected candidate will assist our clients in identifying, applying for, and managing European grants and funding programs, helping them leverage the best opportunities for their Research and Innovation (R&I) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze European funding opportunities (e.g., Horizon Europe, LIFE Programme, Innovation Fund etc.) relevant to our clients and company projects.
• Support clients during the application phase, preparing project proposals that meet the requirements of the relevant calls for funding.
• Draft and coordinate funding proposals, ensuring the content is presented effectively and the documentation is of the highest quality.
• Manage funded projects from initiation to reporting, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with deadlines and timelines.
• Monitor policies and developments related to European funding programs and provide strategic advice to clients on emerging opportunities.
• Assist in managing relationships with European Commission and funding institutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics, Science or other relevant fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in European funding management.
• Deep knowledge of major European funding programs for industry (such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, Innovation Fund, RFCS, Digital Europe).
• Excellent writing skills for project proposals.
• Strong skills in office automation tools.
• Experience in managing and coordinating teams and complex projects.
• Expertise in financial reporting and monitoring funded projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners.
• Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
• Established network of contacts and relationships at EU level will represent an added value.
