ETIS Working Group Manager

Join ETIS, the hub of collaboration and innovation shaping the future of European telecommunications. As Working Group Manager, you will lead high‑impact initiatives that unite top operators and suppliers to address industry challenges, accelerate AI adoption, and set benchmarks for success. This is an opportunity to influence a dynamic sector, connect with leading experts, and grow within a forward‑thinking international network.

About ETIS
ETIS, headquartered in Brussels, is the leading non-profit platform for collaboration in the European telecommunications sector. We unite 32 telecom operators and 25 suppliers across 21 European countries, empowering members to meet strategic objectives through knowledge exchange on challenges, best practices, and benchmarks—with a strong focus on innovation, AI, and resilience.

Role Overview

You will drive and coordinate ETIS working groups, ensuring productive collaboration and tangible outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Working group management: Plan and run webinars and in‑person meetings; craft agendas, deliverables, surveys, benchmarks, and working papers.

  • Representation: Report outcomes and action points from meetings and webinars on behalf of ETIS.

  • Facilitation & leadership: Host webinars and, when needed, lead in‑person discussions in the absence of the chair.

  • Community growth: Support engagement and contribute to new member acquisition.

  • Logistics: Coordinate with hosts and handle practical arrangements (venues, hotels, restaurants).

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Excellent communication, community-building, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal abilities to navigate diverse interests.

  • Organised, detail-oriented, proactive; able to meet deadlines and targets.

  • Team player who can also work independently; creative and eager to learn.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, modern communication tools, and basic visual/video creation software.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Experience in telecom and/or working group & event management is a plus; technical telecom knowledge is an asset, not a requirement.

We Offer

  • Competitive salary package aligned with experience.

  • Laptop, mobile phone, internet and mobile subscription.

  • Meal and eco vouchers.

  • Flexible working conditions: at least 3 days/week teleworking plus a teleworking allowance.

  • Opportunities for European travel (2–3 days per month, several times a year).

  • One-year Belgian contract with the possibility of a permanent position.

  • Desired start date: September or as soon as possible.
