We are seeking a Brussels-based Senior Sales Manager to join our Revenue team of passionate and collaborative professionals, which mission is to grow partnerships and revenue coming from memberships, content, events, communication and advertising.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in EU Affairs and experience in business development,  excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing client relationships and maintaining in robust pipeline. Main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Build a strong pipeline and manage strong business proposals with your network and by identifying and prospecting new business partners via closely monitoring the EU Affairs market

Delivering sales pitches for relevant campaigns and communications actions and closing partnership deals

Managing satisfying relations with existing clients and be a brand ambassador at external events

Working closely and in cooperation with other EURACTIV departments - Editorial, Multimedia, Events, Marketing, Finance

Monitoring results according to budget and revenue targets

Job requirements / profile:

 At least 3 years of experience with a proven track record of business development/

A University degree or equivalent through work experience or other professional qualification

Strong understanding of EU policy making process and stakeholder dynamics

Entrepreneurial mindset, driven and motivated by challenging targets and results

Strong organisational skills with strategic thinking

Excellent social, communication, networking and negotiation skills and team spirit, with a hands-on and solutions-driven work mentality

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

 What we offer:

This is a full-time employment contract under Belgian law (“contrat à durée indéterminée”), with salary and responsibilities commensurate to the candidate’s level of experience.
