About EPPA:
EPPA, the European Trade Association, represents manufacturers of PVC window systems and related building products across Europe. EPPA plays a significant role in European regulatory affairs, promoting the sustainable growth of its members through innovative and environmentally friendly practices. EPPA stands as a blueprint for closed-loop recycling in the industry, setting standards and contributing proactively to European legislation.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our EU Advocacy team. This role involves supporting our efforts in influencing and shaping European regulatory frameworks that impact the PVC industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze EU regulatory developments that affect the PVC industry.
• Assist in the preparation of briefs and position papers on key industry issues.
• Participate in meetings and workshops with EU authorities, stakeholders and other relevant parties.
• Support the advocacy team in organizing and executing outreach campaigns.
• Contribute to social media and other communication channels to promote EPPA's regulatory positions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in European Affairs, Law or Economics, Political Science, or a related field.
• Some prior experience and/or a keen interest in European affairs and policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams and relevant social media tools.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
