EUK Consulting is looking for a motivated trainee to join our Brussels public affairs consultancy for a 6-month paid internship.

EUK is a highly experienced, specialised and talented public affairs consultancy, assisting our clients in managing regulation, reputation and stakeholder relationships. With offices in London and Brussels, we offer a comprehensive consultancy service through all stages of the corporate affairs and regulatory management process; from intelligence, interpretation and foresight to counsel, planning, and implementation support.

The successful candidate will work closely with the EUK Brussels team to:

• Monitor legislative activities and media trends
• Write concise notes for internal and external use
• Provide reports to clients in a timely manner
• Analyse political developments
• Attend and report on events

Start: As soon as possible

Duration: 6 months.

Place of work: Our offices in Brussels, with provision for home working

The ideal candidate for the internship brings:

• A good level of education in relevant fields – e.g. EU Affairs, International Relations, law, political science, etc.
• Experience working with or in the EU institutions, national governments, consultancies, associations/federations (desirable but not mandatory)
• Full professional proficiency in English, with working knowledge of another EU official language; French is an asset
• Interest in the inner workings of the EU
• A flair for drafting analyses and background research
