We are currently looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our growing Research / Horizon Europe department in office in Brussels specialising in the design, implementation, and management of international R&D&I projects.
As an Junior Project Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Daily implementation of Horizon Europe projects.
- Contributing to the development of new project proposals under Horizon Europe.
- Assisting in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, as well as preparing deliverables and scientific reports.
- Contributing to the delivery of policy, business, innovation management, and/or stakeholder engagement/networking services for the needs of the company’s Horizon projects.
- Organising and participating in international project meetings for our Horizon projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A BSc/MSc degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Business, or Social Sciences. English-written dissertation would be a plus.
- Strong academic performance (e.g. we are looking for top-in-class graduates; please indicate your grades in percentile, if possible).
- Industry and/or academic experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods (e.g. surveys, market research methods), business modelling and planning, or programming languages will be considered an asset.
- Language skills – Our working language is English. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must. Other languages are a plus, but not a requirement.
- Multi-tasking abilities and a consultant mindset (e.g., working across different tasks and domains, with demanding deadlines, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn).
- International outlook and ambition (e.g. experience abroad, experience with multinational teams, and openness towards travelling abroad).
- Communication and social skills (e.g., competence in expressing complex ideas in writing, networking skills, communication and presentation skills, and ability to work in diverse teams).
- GMAT/GRE test scores, if available, will be considered strongly.
- Experience in implementing projects and/or developing research proposals will be considered a plus.
- 0-2 years of work experience.
